Plating
The Plating Shop at AA-MRO's Tulsa Maintenance Facility includes 16 Hard Chrome tanks, three that are 13 feet deep and 11 tanks for Sulfamate Nickel. Additional plating capabilities include Wood's Nickel Strike, H2SO4/HF Etch, High Phos Electroless Nickel, Bright Cadmium, Non-bright Cadmium, Silver, Copper, HNO3/HF Etch, Chromic Acid Anodize, Zincate, Nitric Passivation, Magnesium Chromate Conversion, and Alodine 1200.
The shop also maintains the following stripping capabilities: Enthone N 190, Nickel, Nitric, HCl, Caustic Chrome, Cyanide Silver, Ammonium Nitrate Cadmium, Enthone GT-376 TBC, and Rochelle Salt HVOF.
Capabilities of other on-site shops supporting AA-MRO's landing gear overhaul and repair facility include Abrasive Blast, Shot Peen, Heat Treat, and Metal Spray including HVOF.
